sup? here's a girl that I drew whilst testing out a new technique I've never tried before. Drawing something REALLY BIG and then minimizing the canvas. I think it worked out rather well for how simple it is.

I dunno. Enjoy, I guess? I felt like giving my poor, neglected LJ something. So, there.

A FAVORITE CHILDHOOD POSSESSION

Let me see... My childhood was filled with many things, especially possessions. My absolute favorite would have to be my stuffed rabbit. His name? Bunny. I got him when I was two from my aunt. I can't remember that, of course, but I'll trust my parents.

Bunny was the best toy I could ever hope for. He's the reason my imagination, and belief in magic stuck around me a lot longer than most kids. He lived in my closet, a portal to a magical garden. Where he would go when I set off to school. He ruled my room, and kept track of everyone (Frosting, Chicky Bear, and (sometimes) Chunky Monkey)

Occasionally, I would come home to see Bunny wrapped up in the strangest predicaments. Frosting would be trapped under the laundry basket, with Bunny tied to a chair.  I would later find that the dastardly foe, Chunky Monkey was the culprit. One time, I found Bunny completely wrapped in toilet paper, hanging from the shower curtain! I was marveled by Chunky Monkey's ingenuity. Years later, I had come to realize that my Dad had staged the whole thing. That is one of the reasons I love my Dad. Because of Bunny.

Another adventure I had with Bunny was this: I made a movie with him. We reenacted Hercules. It was brilliant and oh how I wish I could find the tape. I really want to look back into that window of my childhood.

I still have Bunny. Though, I am terribly ashamed to say I don't hold him in such high regards anymore. If I remember correctly, Bunny is wedged in my bed frame. I still refuse to give him to my little sister, though. But maybe that's just me.

I must sound like such an emo kid. I only seem to post negative, whiny things about my real life. XD So sorry. This is the ONLY journal my friends don't know about, therefore, the only place I can talk about them. I'm really a bright happy ball of sunshine and rainbows! 8D

So, um, I has a rant.

A-Hem. So, my most favourite thing in the world is comedy. I listen to podcasts about comedians, podcasts by comedians, podcasts for comedians (which is odd, as I do not aspire to be a comedian) There is a TON of comedy on my iPod, and I watch Comedy Central Presents A LOT. So, COMEDYCOMEDYCOMEDY, you get the picture. I've been into it for YEARS. YEARS I SAY. So, by now, I ought to have a pretty good idea what's what in comedy, right? :( Apparently not. 'cause if you don't like Dane Cook, you don't know comedy at my school.

Let me be clear. I HATE DANE COOK. Sure, some of his jokes are funny, that's a given! But I have a theory. If you were to take Dane Cook and put him in a straight jacket, and just let him tell his jokes, he would be not NEARLY as funny. His whole act is to scream and yell, crouch around like he's constipated. That is NOT FUNNY to me! WHY DOES NO ONE GET THAT. WHY.

And if I even MENTION that I dislike his comedy, I get verbally attacked by like, 10 kids. 10 kids who ONLY like Dane Cook and Jeff Dunham (Whom I liked initially, but after re-watching his act, realized it was just a bunch of dumb stereotypes.)

RRRRGHHHH. LET ME HAVE ONE THING. ONE. I have superior knowledge on ONE THING. AND THEY WON'T LET ME HAVE THIS ONE. FUCKING. WIN. :(

YEAH. School's back. D: WRYY.

OMG, I love that manga!  just got it today, and... It was awesome.

It's about an Otaku girl, Rumi, and she fantasizes about yaoi a lot, and writes doujinshi and... does generic otaku things. She starts fantasizing about these two guys from her class, Abe and Chiba. Abe accidentally kicks her in the face after she spies on them "misunderstanding" something (Chiba was like, "Take it off!" and removing Abe's shirt, I was like, "um, what were they actually doing?") So, Rumi says Abe can make up for kicking her by modeling so she can draw him. Then, through various hijinx, and... um, Abe somehow getting a boner, and Rumi giving a weirdly encyclopedic definition of a boner, um... Abe falls in love with her. Meanwhile, she thinks Abe and Chiba are gay and in love. :D
It's pretty great.

Plus, like a slinky, it's "fun for a girl and boy!" in that, there's the BL and shirtless boys for the girls, and big boobs (well, only one character :P) and a surprising amount of panty-shots for guys! :D

LOLOL, and Abe kept getting boners, I was like, "OH ABE YOU RASCAL ;D"

And a weird lovesquare... but probably not really, with Chiba, Abe, Rumi, and Matsui (the aforementioned big boobed character) all centering Rumi.

Ahaha... It's true... Us otaku chicks really do get all the dudes... especially when we flaunt out love of BL and Yaoi. (But seriously, I really have to keep the guys away with sticks. *dead serious*)

Fujoshi Rumi is great fun! I love it so.... <3

Ahaaha... I just watched the the Bleach Dub alongside the Original. WTF, It was bizarre. But also kind of cool. I'm just glad that I found out the dub doesn't (hardly) make any changes. :P Even some of the dialog is the exactly the same as the subs!


But I wish the dub would translate the written word jokes better. How am I supposed to know that the sign called Zabimaru Zabi...Zero or Zangetsu ZanASSsu! o.o Some subtitles... PLEASE.



OH AND YES. June 11th and 12th. Select theaters. BE THERE. The Bleach Movie is coming! HUZZAH. I went to the Death Note movie a few weeks ago, and it was AWESOME. :) And I like Bleach a whole lot more, so it should be doubly awesome!

Soooo.... YES. I've been trying my hardest to get into more shoujo-y manga. But I really don't like the ones I've come across so far. I'm beginning to think all romance/school life/comedies SUCK ASS. I'm so sick of the same plot over and over. "Oh! I'm a spunky girl living alone/with a single parent, I go to high school, with my best friend, RANDOMBOY-chan! But I am secretly in ~lurve~ with this guy I've never really talked to/met before. But I know he's nice and sweet and will make all my dreams come true!!1!  WHAT A SHOCK. He is a total JERK! I love him anyways! OH, What's this?! He's slowly coming around to like me? ADJKALKYSHDG :D LOL, RANDOMBOY-chan loves me too? DRAMAAAAA"

.... END SCENE. Have I not just described like, 100 series?  This is why I loved the most recent chapter of Perfect Girl Evolution. Noi-chan was trying to push Kyouhei and Sunako together for the millionth time, and Sunako ended up reminiscing about that first crush she had with the guy who called her ugly. She remembered watching him, and giggling about him, but never getting to know him, or anything. Then, she and Kyouhei both were like "That kind of love is a LIE!!!! :D" It was probably my favourite chapter in the whole manga. It's on my list of shoujo I like. That list is made up of:
Perfect Girl Evolution
Beauty Pop
Ouran High School Host Club
... Yeah, short list.

On the shounen side... No list there, I read waaaay too much of that!

Last thing: I have a recommendation!  Yankee-kun to Megane-chan, It's an interesting manga about two kids, one is a delinquent, who doesn't want to do anything school related, and the other, is class rep, she USED to be a delinquent, but really wanted to do school related stuff, so she changed her attitude and switched schools. The manga is about their weird obsession with doing "normal" things... in a weird way. I really like it so far. :3

Yo. It's the middle of the night again. You know what that means! Yes, another post on my LJ!

Where to begin... Ah yes. Spring break. The time where I get to do nothing! Woo.

Well... I have had the time to think. Especially about stuff with my friends, and I have decided to de-friend someone.

This someone (*cough* Beavin) is a TOTAL jackass who gets pleasure out of making girls cry! What kind of sick bastard does that, I ask you!? It's not just me anymore, either.
Ugh, Let me tell you, never make friend with someone just because they like Avatar. Ooooh boy do we differ on many issues. Plus he just has to go and like me. Ugh. I take my friendships VERY seriously, and I am telling him I don't want to be his friend on Monday. *nodnod*

At least he doesn't sit near me anymore in class.

Another thing about my friends... I know this sounds cliche and angsty... I seriously don't have an angsty bone in my body, but I feel like, sometimes, my friends don't get me... or even know who I am.

It's really frustrating sometimes. Some of my friends have this opinion of me... that I'm a prude, or that I'm emo, or a tomboy. I'm none of those things. I'm insanely anti-prude. I mean, one of my favourite types of anime is ecchi! On the emo part, I'm constantly happy. Snide and sarcastic, yes, but I have no reason to be sad! I'm pretty awesome If you ask me. About the tomboy part. Yes, I used to be a tomboy, but that was when I was what? Ten? I personally think they're mixing up tomboy and nerd. 'Cause I'm definitely a nerd. :P

Haha, Bleach dub is back! Loving the fight scenes... The Ken-chani VS Tousen one has always been a favourite.

Ohohoooo. But when that was over, and I was ready to see if they had, maybe, perhaps, done Shinigami Golden this week. Guess what?! They didn't even do the 'next episode' thing, or use the right ending sequence! What. The. Hell?!!!? It was like... You know how the Naruto dub never shows the ending theme? But just clips from the show with the credits rolling on the side?

That's what Bleach did. Bleach has like, some of the BEST opening and endings I've ever seen! And recently (also sadly) the animation has been better in them, than the actual show! Well, at least they won't start doing it to the openings (I hope)

*sigh* I mean, if you're gonna do a show that WITH commercial breaks, only lasts around 23 minutes, why the HELL would you make it shorter?!

>.< Hopefully, this will be fixed.

But still, I'm glad it's back! Now the people I know who watch the dub only will stop whining about it! (I'm still LOLing about the fact that they don't even know that Aizen is evil, by the way)

Hmm~ I don't know why I love posting in my LJ that no one reads. I guess it serves as a... diary of sorts? But you know, when I'm older and look back on this I'll go "oh, wow. I was such an idiot." as I do with my other diaries.

But any waaaay, I need to vent to you, nobody.

Okay, so, school is fine, when we're not having snow days, that is. But, I've been having problems. Two of my friends, Beavin (It's pronounced bivvin. I would much rather pronounce it as it's spelled, and make Beaver jokes) and Joseph (nothing funny about his name, I'm afraid...)

They CONSTANTLY harass me. Why? Because they want me to be mean. WTF. I ask for a reason, and they (usually Beavin) say that "things are more fun when you're mean! The world will be a better place!" Something weird like that. Now, I know they're just joking, but sometimes they take it too far. Take this for example:
Me: My hands are cold.
Beavin: That's because you're an ugly slut that's never known the love of a boyfriend
Me: WTF? ;3;

I may have mixed two of them together... but still! :O I mean, I laugh it off, but... hey man, that stings!
On Thursday I tried to put a positive spin on everything nasty they said to me. Or kill them both with logic. But without raising my voice or temper. It was difficult, but also, on it's own level, highly amusing.

Also, Beavin hits me (lol, I sound like an abused housewife...) He's (probably) just goofing around, but he hist HARD sometimes. He says he does it to make me be mean, but I swear, one of these days I'm gonna cry. Which is another thing they are trying to do. What the hell, guys?!
I mean, the other day, Beavin tried to PAY two of my BEST friends to make me cry. They, of course, did NOT accept. :D

Seriously, I'm either going to get soooo pissed of and kill them in a fire, or I'm going to break down and cry. They will not like EITHER.

But, I finally finished the soul society arc in the Bleach manga! :D YAY. Only... about 100 chapters to go until I catch up... Hehe...he...

On the whole Bleach subject, the new arc that's starting, the new FILLER arc... I dunno, I think I might not find it completely horrible and boring. I mean, Rukia might actually do something (I've counted, she's only really fought about four times during the entire series.) Renji's there... Nell is adorable and awesome, I love her clingyness towards Ichigo. 8D Ummm, The Arrancars will probably show up, Nell is ADORABLE, Ichigo is silly, did I mention NELL IS ADORABLE?! and all this extra stuff with Nell will make it all the more amusing when she transforms. :D

Oh, also in Bleach-ish news, I hate fanfiction now. It really makes me dislike Ichigo. Especially IchiRuki fanfics. It just really weirds me out when I read stuff like Ichigo telling Rukia that he wuvs her. Last time I checked, outside the battle... area, Ichigo can be a real pansy. ESPECIALLY when It comes to females. :C I love Ichigo... But him being a romantic guy who .... with Rukia??? EW. I'd much rather see them punch each other in the face. That is how it should be, dammit! >.<

I'm never reading IchiRuki fanfics again, or looking at fanart. Blarg. All I can think is "Ichigo wouldn't do thattttt!"

I will, however, watch the fanvids, because that is at least some level of canon. Lulz.


Ghaaaaa... Before I go to clean my room, I'll leave you with this little factoid. NEVER get way into the song "Lets Dancing" at 1 AM. And DONT grow your thumb nail out , and then headbang to the "EVERYBODY DANCING!" awesome part of the song with your head resting on your hand. I like, sliced my neck open. XP It's not pleasant. But that is a really good song.

Yeah, so, I was watching the Bleach dub last week. At the end, they were all like, "Kon here! Don't forget that we start Soul Reaper Storybook (Or whatever the crap they call it in the dub) next week!!"

So I was happy, and wanted to see how it is in the dub. I watched this week... NO GOLDEN. WHAT. I watched all through the entire effing episode. Even past the little viz media symbol. Even until my recording stopped four commercials after it ended.

So, what, are they obligated to translate everything, but don't show it???

How will dub-watchers get through the Bount arc? HOW I ASK YOU. HOWWWW????

But anyways, I love dubs. Mainly to laugh at them, though. Props to Renji's VA for pronouncing Bankai correctly. But he pronounced Byakuya wrong... D: too much pronunciation on the first 'y'

And Byakuya... um, it's Zenbonsakura (replace S's and Z's accordingly) not ZenBONEsakura. Geez. Going a tad overboard with the 'bon' there, pal. Then he said Ban......................................................kai.

I've been taking a lot of stereotype quizzes, and I either come off as a: Prep (WHAT?!) Emo (...NO) a Straightedge (Or whatever they're called. They aren't very nice and they scare me.) Or something called a "Scene Kid" I've been out of it as of late, and I was like WTF is a scene kid?? I looked it up, and as it turns out, I AM a scene kid. I'm a really lame version of a scene kid anyways. Hehe. Nerd+Scene Kid= ME. YAYA.

ANOTHER THING. My mom was a goth. My dad is a nerd (note the tenses) My mom is pushing her Gothyness on me. I'm too happy for my own genetics. ;P

OYAH. I've been watching Potemayo which is the most ADORABLE show in the history of ever, but it gets things stuck in my head. Like, for instance, now I say "Honey honey" overandoverandover. when I'm nervous. Why? Because Pote-chan says that. It's like, the only thing she can say, actually.

ALSO. WHEN will the Bount arc be over! D:< I love Bleach, I really do, but WHY WON'T THEY FINISH ALREADY. It's killing me inside. I'm on episode 87 right now. I've probably watched 6 or seven episodes in the past two hours. I've fastforwarded a lot. Just skipping flashbacks alone. Bounts bore me to DEATH. Yet I keep watching. Thus is the power of Bleach. I've memorized Tonight Tonight Tonight and Hanabi (Opening and ending songs) almost completely, by the way.

ALSO ALSO. I'm bad. I'm supposed to be helping paint my room, but I'm just watching Bleach and writing in this.

Yep, it's summer all right. Summerysummersummer. I figured I'd say something since I've linked to it.

It's been a boring summer so far, and I haven't slept, and I've watched too much anime.

But I don't want to go to high school. It's kinda scary. I mean, I know I'll ease into it eventually, but that first day, I just know I'll say something dumb. Or like, cry or something. I just wanna hange out with my friends is all. And learn some German. Then go home and sleep.
